First, be clear about your objective. Why are you networking? I asked a client that question recently and the answer was, “Because I don’t know what else to do. ” If your objective is any one of the following:

To get referrals

  • To promote my business
  • To meet other people
  • To sell my product or service
  • To get visibility

Your networking objective is to build relationships!
